A bit of code leftover from Gears of War 3 appears to have found its way into the game’s successor, Gears of War: Judgement, and it’s allowing players to play the series-staple game mode “Warzone” with a simple button combination that goes as follows:
– Choose “Private Match” and highlight “Team Deathmatch”
– Press [A], then press [A] and [B] at the same time after the next prompt
– Press [A] when it asks you if you want to continue with the match
Why is the mode still in the game? Is it going to be paid DLC? Or an unlockable? Epic staffers say neither: They simply left it on the disc because it was easier than ripping it all out. Pretty neat that it’s accessible, though! Thoughts?
