Seems like Apple had some things to say about the past and future in a recent conference call for reported earnings. Last September, Apple showed off the promising Apple Watch with tons of questions about it not answered except the price but now it seems like we have a release month. “Development for Apple Watch is right on schedule and we expect to begin shipping in April,” CEO Tim Cook said in the conference call after the company reported earnings.
“Developers are hard at work on apps, notifications and information summaries that we call Glances, all designed specifically for the Watch’s user interface,” Cook added.
One thing not touched was pricing. Could we see a price drop? In September, Apple only stated that it will have a starting price of $349.
There will be three models, Watch, Watch Sport, and Watch Edition.
With health and fitness being one the main core features. Tim noted on the call that he’s been using it every day and can’t live without it now. Will this change how we use our phones? I personally can’t wait to not have to look at my phone screen for notifications or just the time. Will you be getting an Apple Watch on release?
