Xbox Media Briefing for this year’s E3 moves to Sunday

It looks like some big changes are going to shake up this year’s biggest gaming convention. Major publishers such as EA and Activision have already announced their intentions to avoid hosting their own booths on the showfloor while organisers have opened up access to the event for 15,000 members of the public. Now there’s a been a change to one of the main press conferences…

Microsoft will now be hosting their Xbox Media Briefing at 2pm PDT on Sunday, June 11, 2017. For a number of years now it’s been a regular tradition for Microsoft’s conference to take place on the Monday morning. The Galen Center will still be the venue where the show takes place.

This year’s date will likely be a welcome change for fans who may have missed the previous shows due to work or school. Microsoft are expected to show off Project Scorpio, the new and improved 4K-supported Xbox console due to arrive towards the end of the year. As for games, you can expect that the likes of Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2 and Forza will be among those featured.
