Payday 2, the very popular sequel to Payday, has sold over 1.58 million copies worldwide across all platforms. Eighty Percent of the games sold were digitally downloaded. The “Crime Simulator” is available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The original title, Payday The Heist, was available exclusively on PC which is probably why it sold so many digital copies most likely through Steam although it is also available for download on Xbox Live and Playstation Network. I am just assuming PC Gamers had early knowledge of the series, what it was about and were excited for the sequel. I tried Payday 1 and to be honest I wasn’t too impressed with the feel of the game. I think in Payday 2 they hit the nail right on the head, game feels much smoother. Granted the game is technically still not “finished” as its still getting features added almost each week.
