Microsoft confirm Xbox plans for E3 2016

Microsoft have today revealed how Xbox will be represented at this year’s E3 – which is just over a month away!

First of all, the date and time of Xbox’s annual media briefing is no surprise. It will take place at 9:30am PDT (12:30pm EDT/5:30pm BST) on Monday, June 13 with invites being sent starting today. Gamers will be able to tune in across multiple platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox 360, Twitch, Xbox.com, Spike TV and at local Microsoft stores. According to Microsoft, we can expect to have an in-depth look at announced titles and reveals of unannounced games coming later this year and beyond.

The Xbox Daily: LIVE @ E3 show will also be returning this year, with airings set for the Tuesday and Wednesday at 4pm PDT (7pm EDT/12am BST). Presented by Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) and Graeme Boyd (Acey Bongos), the show will feature breaking news, exclusive announcements, trailer reveals and interviews, with guest stars and industry figures set to make an appearance. You can tune in via Xbox One, Xbox.com, Xbox 360 and Twitch – a special interactive experience is available exclusively on Xbox One.

By partnering with Twitch, Xbox will be able to deliver even more regular content. A stream straight from the E3 show floor will be available on the Tuesday (12pm-4pm PDT), Wednesday (10am-4pm PDT) and Thursday (10am-5pm PDT) via the official Xbox Twitch channel. Fans can expect to see plenty of announcements, demo walkthroughs, interviews and behind the scenes segments.

Those lucky enough to be in LA during E3 also have a fantastic opportunity! Microsoft are giving away 500 tickets for exclusive access to the Xbox FanFest event. The FanFest will run from Monday through to Wednesday and the exclusive tickets will provide fans with access to the Media Briefing, a custom-built backpack filled with swag, playtime with the latest exclusives and blockbusters, opportunity to meet key industry figures, and more surprises. More details on the FanFest can be found here.
