Confirmed: PS3 titles available in 2014 via Sony’s Gaikai cloud

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida announced in a roundtable interview that Sony is planning to launch the Gaikai streaming service in 2014 for North America. The cloud streaming functionality will allow PlayStation 3 games to be accessed from the PS4, PS Vita, and PS Vita TV. Though there is no word of what titles will be available when it launches, Yoshida said there would be a selection of games and that more would be made available over time.

Great news if you’re in NA for sure, but when it goes live will it be too little too late? I see this as potentially being a bigger deal for PS Vita and PS Vita TV than PS4. But what are your thoughts? Share them below in the comments!

Damn, I misread the title. I was expecting a list of confirmed PS3 titles lol. This is good to hear though. Any info on if you already own the game on PS3?
