Call of Duty: Ghosts allows player stat transfer between any platform

One of the major concerns players have during this console transition is their player stats. With players having a higher potential of purchasing the same game for both current and next generation consoles, the concern of player stat progression comes into play.

Earlier this month we learned that two of the most anticipated games this holiday season, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4, would offer player stat transferring between their respected console as long as they remained consistent across the manufacturer (Xbox 360 to Xbox One, for example).

Today, Infinity Ward may have one-upped the team over at Dice by offering the ability to transfer stats across any platform at any given time.

“Whatever console I have and I’m playing on, I can go to friends’ houses and I could play on their consoles even if they’re completely different.”

“And you can go back and forth if you want. You can go any platform you want – PC as well. That’s something I think that as a player is important because, again, we hope we’re supporting people who don’t have tons of income.”

This is huge, and a great idea for players of all multiplayer games. One of the most frustrating things is having to grind through a multiplayer game on one platform, than re-grinding the same levels simply to play with people on another (here is looking at you, Battlefield 3).

Transferable stats between all platforms is a fantastic feature.
