Call of Duty Franchise 3 year dev cycle & New dev!

Recently announced by Activision at its quarterly conference call it was announced that not only is Activision’s best-selling FPS franchise Call of Duty going on a 3 year development cycle, but the next Call of Duty game set to be released in 2014 is also going to be developed by Sledgehammer Games who previously co-developed with Infinity Ward Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Having worked on Cod:MW3 previously they havve experience with Call of Duty but lets hope they can add some fresh and new stuff to the Call of Duty franchsie. I can for once in a long time say I’m actually excited for the next Call of Duty game!
