Early last Friday this deal was announced, Activison Blizzard and a group of investors will buy back shares from Vivendi in turn making them a independent company. This shows that Activision Blizzard believes that they can achieve greatness on their own.

Once this deal is complete by September Vivendi will only have a 12% stake share hold within the company.
