Competitive Black Ops 2: Weekly Round-Up (2/2/13-2/9/13)

With MajorLeagueGaming’s (MLG) first event in Dallas, Texas just around the corner and the Online Qualifiers for a guaranteed top sixteen placing at the event growing even closer. Many top competitive teams and players have decided to make official roster changes, leave their team, or fold under the pressure of qualifying for CODXP Championships and the chance at winning $400,000 later this year.

Teams such as UNiTE.NA and NY Thrust have essentially traded players during the week.  After Bobby “Bobby” Hamwi left UNiTE.NA, NY Thrust decided to release “Clayster”. Eventually leading to each competitive player switching spots on each team.

There was also two departures from Dare Competitive through multiple players leaving through their own personal interest. Dare Competitve then ended up selecting two individuels later in the week, making their roster fill out as: Ryan “Fatalize” Bogucki, Aaron “CMPLX” Vetelino, Bryan “Apathy” and, Alex “Rizma”

Also during the week a new team was formed through multiple events of players leaving their respective teams and Free Agent pickups to form Team GenesiS. Their roster at this point has rounded out to become: Jake “Felonies” Sabo, Embry “BEViLS”, Tanner “Mosh” and, Keenan “ROZAY”.

Lastly, during the week there was an announcement from UMG Gaming of another event that they will be hosting consisting of 4v4, 2v2, and FFA in St. Louis, Missouri during the weekend of April 20th-21st, with a $10,000 prize pool.
