Steam sale’s are arguably the most exciting time of the year for a PC gamer. Not only is Steam the best platform available for PC gaming, but the sale offers are simply not feasible for physical retail outlets and are very rarely matched (let alone bested) buy other digital platforms on both PC and console.
With that said, Valve tries to keep the dates of these sales locked down in order to gain momentum and hype for their event. It also goes without saying that keeping these dates secret until launch protects them from other digital outlets, like Amazon, countering their sale with advance planning. Unfortunately for Valve, it looks like the launch date of their autumn sale has been leaked by an unnamed Russian developer.
Sparing the details of the actual e-mail, it looks like the launch date for the Steam autumn sale will run from November 27th to December 3rd. Pretty strategic (if not predictable) placement, as is puts Valve in a position to offer some amazing pre-holiday sales.

These dates are not confirmed by Valve as of yet, so they must still be taken as “rumor.” Either way, let us know if you’ll be participating in the Steam autumn sale
