Today at Gamescom Twitch was confirmed to appear on the PlayStation 4 platform. Allowing users to be one press of the “share” button (on the new Daulshock 4) from showing his or her broadcast. There will also be a application that allows user to watch other broadcasts, creating the full experience of Twitch on your PlayStation 4 console.
The Entertainment Software Association says, “Fit “Fifty-one percent of U.S. households own a dedicated game console, and those that do own an average of two.”
Now that Twitch is on both the Xbox One and PS4 they are heading in the direction to bring live gaming to every living room. Thus, allwoing for more viewers and more growth to the gaming community.
