Multiple Xbox marketing veterans resign days before Xbox One launch

Last week, rumors started circulating that the Xbox brand could be in jeopardy of being sold off as reports that it costs Microsoft nearly “2 billion” in losses a year made the rounds. Not ending there, allegations continue to fly this morning as it’s being reported that several ten to twelve year marketing veterans of the Xbox brand have left the company just days before launch.

The news comes from Christa Charter, best known for her role as Xbox Live Community Manager for Microsoft:

“Odd to see 10 – 12 year Xbox marketing leaders leaving the company right before Xbone launch.”

No details have been given regarding who these people are, but it’s a strong indication that the winds of change are to the back of Microsoft at this time.

More information will surly pour in as it becomes available, in the mean time let me know what you think.
