Dishonored 2 announced with trailer, coming next year

During their first ever E3 showcase on Sunday, Bethesda officially announced Dishonored 2! Arkane Studios took to the stage to confirm the game, as well as to announce that a Dishonored: Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this year.

A sequel to 2012’s successful stealth action-adventure title, Dishonored 2 is scheduled to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in Spring 2016. Players will be able to play as one of two characters, each of which possess their own supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition

On top of the sequel announcement, Arkane also confirmed that a Definitive Edition of the first game is in the works. Scheduled for launch later this year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, this edition will include Dishonored and all of its downloadable content packs. As with most remasters, players can also expect to experience improved visuals with the game utilizing the power of the current-generation of consoles.
