Battlefield 4 – Naval Strike Details

So, with Naval assault we have been promised a mode similar to Titan mode from Battlefield 2142 (For those who did not play it, it was amazing!). Instead since there are no flying warships (yet) in normal Battlefield games we have Carrier mode. Both modes acting very similar, but in the end you use Missiles to disable the Carrier and then go on the carrier yourself to blow it up using Rush mode like mechanics. It also seems like the level cap may have been raised to 111 or higher.

Quite a few new guns are going to be added, unfortunately one is a Grenade launcher that will be shooting 3 40mm grenades (New 24/7 Op Metro/Locker meta maybe?) seems a bit much really. A full list of gadgets and weapons below as well as the rumors on how to unlock them.

• Precision Knife – Battlepack
• AA Mine – “Death from Below” assignment PDW Ribbon x 3 and Attack 5 air vehicles with Rocket Launchers.
• M320 3GL – “Multi Tool” assignment 10 kills with both the UGL Darts and UGL LVG.
• SW40 Magnum – “Curve Ball” assignment 10 kills with the RGO Impact grenade.
• AWS Machine Gun – “Swiss Cheese” assignment LMG Ribbon x 3 and Destroy 3 vehicles as support.
• SR33B Bolt-Action Rifle – “Always Deadly” assignment Sniper Rifle Ribbon x 3 and 5 C4 kills on Naval Strike Maps.
• AR160 Assault Rifle – “Spare Time Sniper” assignment Assault Rifle Ribbon x 3 and 20 headshots with Assault Rifles.
• SR-2 PDW “Packing a Punch” assignment Destroy 20 boats.

As well as guns of course achievements and trophies have been added, some leading to the new guns or gadgets.

• The Big Leagues – Bronze \ Play a round of Carrier Assault
• Killing me Softly – Bronze \ Get a kill in the ACV
• Spotted – Bronze \ Climb the highest point in Naval Strike
• Fly Swatter – Silver \ Kill and enemy with the AA mine
• No Parley – Silver \ Get a kill with the old cannon

Now, there’s also rumors of another “Phantom” assignment called “Phantom Trainee” that is said to unlock the Phantom Camo
