The Nintendo 3DS has made quite the turn around this past year. What was initially thought of as a failed successor to Nintendo’s best selling handheld has transformed to an incredible platform housing some of this years greatest titles.
One thing that has been lacking with the 3DS is the experience outside of the gaming universe. With a lack of services, features and account options available elsewhere, it has been a promise of Nintendo for sometime to fix and add these issues.
Today, during Nintendo’s latest “Direct,” we finally have an idea of what Nintendo has been planning. With an update set for release in December, 3DS owners will soon be able to merge their E-Shop balance with their Wii U, watch YouTube videos on their 3DS and even surf MiiVerse.
These updates are not surprising but help the 3DS finally become the well rounded platform gamers have been asking for since its release. Let us know what you think!
