Microsoft has announced that a new live-action trailer for Halo 5: Guardians is debuting this week. The live-action trailer will be released on Sunday, March 29th, and looks set to reveal more about the game’s story campaign.
While news about the game’s multiplayer mode has been ongoing, particularly with the launch of a public beta earlier in the year, not much is known about Halo 5’s campaign.
Recently, a Tumblr page surfaced which teased an update which happened yesterday. As part of some ‘Hunt the Truth’ viral campaign, which also asks the question ‘Who is the Traitor?’, the Tumblr page tells the story of journalist and war photographer Benjamin Giraud. The page is expected to be updated weekly with more reports from Giraud on his ‘investigation’. Hopefully this viral marketing campaign and upcoming live-action trailer gives us a taste of what to expect in the Halo 5 story.
Developed by 343 Industries, Halo 5: Guardians is set to be released on Xbox One towards the end of the year.
