Sledgehammer Games has just announced that three new weapons will be coming to Advanced Warfare beginning next week. The new weapons will be available for Xbox One on Tuesday, July 21st, with a release for PlayStation 4 and PC to be announced. They won’t be arriving on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
The weapons are… Blunderbuss, STG44 and SVO. The Blunderbuss will come with its base weapon, as well as 10 loot variants including the Musketeer, Dragon Fire and Thunderpipe editions. The Blunderbuss is described as a short range shotgun with a wide-spread bullet spray. The base version of the weapon will be available to equip in Create-a-Class from next week while its many variants will be available in Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops.
The STG44 will also be making a return to the Call of Duty series. This new Assault Rifle weapon comes with a solid accuracy and manageable fire-rate and has 5 loot variants. Last of all is the accurate SVO semi-automatic Sniper Rifle which will also come with 5 variants. Both of these weapons and their variants will arrive next week but unlike the Blunderbuss, you will only get access to their base versions in Create-a-Class when you receive one of their variants through Supply Drops or Advanced Supply Drops.
Sledgehammer promises that these three are the first of more new weapons to come with details on a new set due next month.
