New DLC for Pikmin 3 was announced today during a Nintendo Direct event this morning.
This new DLC consists of Mission Mode stages and will come in two rounds. Round 1: Collect Treasure Pack (Stages 7-10), is scheduled to release today in the Nintendo eShop. Round 2 will be released at a later date. According to the official Pikmin 3 website , the mission packs will retail for $1.99.
Pikmin 3 is also receiving a new update that will bring a new ranking and global leaderboards system online as well as a free add-on Mission Mode stage.
