Advanced Warfare: XP Bonus Gear Sets and Royalty Weapon Variants v2 coming soon

Sledgehammer Games has announced some new loot updates for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which will be hitting soon.

First of all is XP Bonus Gear Sets. From June 23rd on all platforms, players will be able to earn a 5% XP Bonus if they’re equipped with a complete Gear Set. For example, if players enter a match with their character sporting all 8 items of the Atlas Airborne Gear Set, then they will earn extra XP during the match. This is designed as an incentive for those who’ve unlocked all items for a specific Gear Set and a new update to the Armory will make it easy to identify what items are owned and what’s not. Beginning June 23rd, 36 Sets will support the XP Bonus with more to be added over time.

Next up are Royal Variants V2. Recently, Sledgehammer introduced Royalty Elite Weapon Variants which added elite weapons to the loot rotation with a Grand Master Prestige camo and a full clip of extra ammo stat buff. When added, only 11 weapons were supported but now more are close to being added. From June 23rd on Xbox One (coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PC), more are to be added. Sporting the same camo, the new variants will now come with a increased reload speed stat buff instead. As ever, these variants will be available in Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops. Due to hardware limitations, they won’t be able on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
