[UPDATE] Rumoured list of Xbox’s ‘Games with Gold’ for March

Every month Microsoft offers Xbox Live users the chance to download a selection of games for free with a program called ‘Games with Gold’. As long as the game is download within the designated period, players are able to purchase it for free and play it whenever they wish as long as they have an active Xbox Live subscription.

As spotted by a user on NeoGAF, Microsoft’s own ExpertZone website appears to have leaked details of next month’s offerings. According to the website, Xbox One will see Rayman Legends and #IDARB available for free for the whole month, while Xbox 360 will offer Tomb Raider for the first half of the month and Bioshock Infinite for the second half.

Xbox One:

  • Rayman Legends (3/1 – 3/31)
  • #IDARB (3/1 – 3/31)

Xbox 360:

  • Tomb Raider (3/1 – 3/15)
  • Bioshock Infinite (3/16 – 3/31)

The website also revealed some more interesting information. As Games with Gold has seen more than 100m games downloaded for free, in April the program will offer double the amount of games to celebrate. With March just days away, we shouldn’t have to wait too long for an official announcement.

February’s Games with Gold currently allows Xbox Live members to download #IDARB for free on Xbox One and Sniper Elite V2 on Xbox 360. Earlier this month the Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Arcade game was available for free on Xbox 360.

We’ll update this post when Microsoft officially announces what will be on offer with next month’s Games with Gold.

Update: Microsoft have officially confirmed all of the above information. The only difference is that #IDARB isn’t mentioned, so it remains unclear whether that will remain free or not. In April, Xbox One will receive two games and Xbox 360 four to celebrate over 100m Games with Gold downloads.
