New Royalty Elite and Non-Akimbo weapon variants coming to Advanced Warfare next week

Sledgehammer Games has announced that some new weapon variants for Advanced Warfare will be arriving on Xbox One next week. The impending release of the new variants follows the M1 Irons weapon, which was released last week, and the previous launches of other variants, with Sledgehammer promising that more are to come.

One of the new variants coming next week is a non-akimbo version of the SAC3 SMG. While the weapon was included at launch, it could only be used as a duel-wield package, which next week’s variants will change. The non-akimbo SAC3 will come with multiple variants, from the base weapon to royalty. The new variants will inevitably improve the weapon’s precision with the new possibility of aiming down sights.

Another weapon variant announced is the Royalty Elite variant. Supporting multiple weapons, this new variant will provide weapons with the royalty camo found on the Grand Master Prestige armor, and will feature stats similar to those found on the game’s elite weapons. 10 of these Royalty Elite variants will launch next week

The new weapon variants (available in both Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops) will be available for Xbox One on Tuesday, 19th May. A date for PlayStation 4 and PC has not yet been announced, but expect it to be in around a month’s time.
