First two Batman Arkham games rumoured to be coming to Xbox One and PS4

The first two games in the Batman Arkham series could be receiving the remastered treatment, according to two reports.

IGN Italy have heard from a source that Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The source stated that the games will come bundled together and be remastered, supporting 1080p resolution. The third game in the series, Batman: Arkham Origins, developed by a different studio and featuring a prequel storyline, won’t be included. The remastered bundled is reported to be arriving on the new consoles around Christmas, months after the conclusion to the series is released this Summer.  Videogamer have also reported the same rumour from a separate source.

Earlier today a new gameplay trailer for the next game in the series, Arkham Knight, was released online. It was also confirmed that the game had been delayed for a few more weeks and will now be released on Tuesday, 23rd June.
