What Madden 13 needs to do with PS3

It’s about that time of year again, Madden Cover is being chosen, first few videos and features for the next NCAA has been announced. But this year is different sports fans, Nike Uni’s are now part of the NFL and would be a welcomed addition to Madden, but not only that besides the draft coming up, RG III possibly being the best rookie ever in Madden, Arizona winning the super bowl… oh wait, back to reality, besides all that it’s different this year or hopefully will be different.

Your probably thinking, ok what new feature or gimmick will be over hyped, not this time. Hopefully this will happen, just an idea but something that I hope someone at EA considered or is doing. One word: VITA.

Now I have given this a lot of thought and I could possibly write about it all day, but lets get to the point. Using the Vita as a remote controller would be great. One game has done it and it works smoothly and amazingly, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 uses this feature. Now if you don’t know what it is or how it works, view the video below:

As you can see, they used the screen to activate combos or customize it to do certain moves, how could this me used in Madden? For starters just using it for your Gameflo options: ‘Run, Pass, etc’ or have your formations show up so you can quickly choose your formation and then select play, but best of all, why not let Madden Players finally have what they always wanted… let you draw your own plays! Yes you read correctly, they did this for the iPhone so why couldn’t they do this with the Vita?

Ok so that last one is very wishful thinking but the others are just logical, you could easily program your ‘Vita Menu’ to have certain plays or formations.

This hopefully is something that EA Sports has considered, after using it for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 I wouldn’t see why they couldn’t add this feature considering that the Vita version came out way after console version and they had this added.

What are your thoughts? Would this be something that would be seen as a great feature?
Anything else you think the Vita could do for sports games or others?
