Ubisoft to use YouTubers to promote Watch_Dogs

Ubisoft’s “Watch_Dogs” has been subject to much debate since it’s reveal during the 2012 E3 conference. Touting a ridiculous look into what “next gen” could potentially bring to the consumer, fans everywhere were ecstatic at the potential.

Than reality hit. With delays that forced pre-order adopters of PlayStation 4/Watch_dogs bundles to miss launch, supposed graphical “down grades,” and the typical Ubisoft “bullshotting” the company has become known for, many people have denounced Watch_Dogs before the game has launched.

Luckily that has not stopped fans from pleasing the developers, as according to Ubisoft “excitement for the product remains incredibly high and gamers are desperate to finally get their hands on the title.” Ubisoft than went on to claim that “this is reflected in our pre-orders which are hugely promising for a new IP and highlights the enthusiasm that has surrounded the product since it was first unveiled to the world.”

To help promotion along, Ubisoft has also stated that they will enlist the help of key YouTube personalities to participate in streaming and video events upon launch. A smart move of digression, as hiding the roll in promotion often led to backlash from fans; something Microsoft found out the hard way when promoting the Xbox One through Machinima partners backhandedly.

Are you still excited about Watch_Dogs?
