With the launch of the PS4 system just a couple days away, Sony has released it’s Playstation App for Android and iOS. The App can now be downloaded from Google Play and iTunes.
The Playstation App will be compatible with tablets and smartphones and allow users to view and interact with the PlayStation Network. User will also be able to view information through the “What’s New feature.” For instance, players can see what their friends are playing, and accept and send multiplayer invites to each other. The PlayStation App also offers screen functionality via the Connect to PS4 feature on compatible titles. The app will also display PSN Trophy information, feature chat capabilities with friends and offer access to the PlayStation Store. It will also include Twitter and Facebook integration.
The app is expected to launch in Europe Nov. 22.
