EA is planning on launching its next Madden NFL game on August 27. Based on a new post on the franchise’s official website, it could be seeing a small name change.
As pictured above, the graphic posted on Madden’s site indicates that the upcoming release may be called “Madden 25″. The football series is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
EA has traditionally labeled its Madden games according to the year of release. In 2012, for instance, Madden went by the title “Madden NFL 13″.
We’ll likely be receiving additional information during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
