Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter Has Raised Over $3 Million

Mighty No. 9 is a Japanese side-scrolling action game that let’s you play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots who happens to be the only one not infected by a mysterious computer virus that causes the robots to go crazy. From the creator of Mega Man, Keiji Inafune’s new title has raised over $3 million dollars on it’s Kickstarter campaign. That’s way over the initial $900,000 goal that Inafune was trying to achieve making Mighty No. 9 the top-grossing Japanese crowdfunded game of all-time. While reaching $3 million guaranteed its place in at least the top five gaming Kickstarter projects ever as well. As of right now Mighty No. 9 is set to release sometime in April 2015 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. If the game reaches $3.3 million by 8:19pm on October 1st, it will also release on Xbox One and the PS4. Let us know what you think of this side-scrolling action game in the comments below.
