Sucker Punch’s PlayStation 4-exclusive title, Infamous: Second Son, will launch in February 2014.
“We were working on Infamous: Second Son while they were working on the DualShock 4. Sony did a great job this generation talking to developers such as ourselves saying, ‘what do you want the controller to be?’, ‘how do you want it to function?’, and they would take the feedback and they would try out different things.”
“We’d get a lot of the different prototypes as they were coming along, different concepts, different feels and then we would give them feedback and what we have now is the best of the best. The touchpad allows us to do intuitive new gameplay concepts and frankly, I’ll be honest, the best thing about the contoller, the sticks are so much better for aiming and shooting, the triggers are better for shooting.”
