Sven Co-Op, a very popular 2 player co-op Mod for the original Half Life game made by Valve will be made available for free on Steam in the coming months. Not only is the Mod free, but Valve has also approved it for standalone release meaning Steam customers will not have to purchase the classic shooter game Half Life to play it. Full access was also granted to the developers for SteamPipe and the Half-Life engine which will allow their team to create more detailed worlds as well as stabilizing the game for everyone who plays it.
