DOOM – Campaign Trailer, Release Date and Collector’s Edition revealed

Bethesda has today lifted the lid on a bunch of DOOM news! First of all, they’ve announced that the highly anticipated game will launch on… Friday, May 13th, 2016. A new campaign trailer has also been released, which you can check out below.

Last of all, the game’s Collector’s Edition has been unveiled. Along with the game and an exclusive metal case, the $119.99 (€129.99 / £99.99) package will include a 12″ tall statue of the Revenant based on one of the game’s most iconic demons, complete with an LED-lit base which features an internal slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars. Any pre-ordered edition of the game will come with the Demon Multiplayer Pack, providing players with a unique demon armour set and three skin variations, six metallic paint colours and three id logo patterns, as well as a set of six Hack Modules which can be used as one-time consumables during a multiplayer match.

Developed by id Software, DOOM will feature relentless demons, impossibly destructive weapons and a fluid movement system designed to create intense combat. The game features both a single player and multiplayer mode, including a new SnapMap feature which allows players to completely create, play and share their own content. DOOM is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Friday the 13th this May.
