Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta now available on PlayStation 4, feedback site live

The long-awaited Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta is now available on PlayStation 4! The beta kicked off globally over 12 hours ago and is scheduled to last until Sunday. Those who pre-ordered the game have been guaranteed access, and Xbox One and PC players will have their turn to play next Wednesday.

While the beta is the perfect opportunity for players to experience hands-on time with the game’s new features and mechanics, its number one priority is to solve any issues before the game arrives on November 6th. To help with this, Activision has launched a feedback site right here. You can use the site to report any feedback you might have or to provide a thorough description of any bugs that you’ve came across.

The beta includes a fraction of the content that will be available at retail, but it’s a substantial amount. Players will receive access to three maps, Hunted, Combine, and Evac, as well as seven modes, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Demolition, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Capture the Flag, Search & Destroy. As well as the new movement mechanics, players will be able to take 8 Specialists for a spin (Seraph and Nomad will be available at Ranks 22 and 28 respectively, while Reaper will become available in the coming days). Last of all, the beta includes the new Weapon Paintshop feature which provides players with endless possibilities of aesthetic customization for their weapons (unavailable in the PC beta).

More content, including a level cap increase (it’s currently 28), is expected to arrive during the beta’s lifecycle.

“We have poured our heart and soul into making Black Ops III, pushing ourselves to develop the deepest and richest experience we could for Call of Duty players. We can’t wait for the fans to get their hands-on multiplayer so they can provide us with the type of feedback at scale to ensure we deliver the best experience we can come November. With the new precision fluid movement system, the introduction of Specialists and an all-new weapon customization system, there’s a ton of multiplayer content in the beta and that’s just scratching the surface.” – Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch

“The relationship between SCEA and Activision continues to flourish, allowing us to deliver content to PlayStation® fans before they can get it anywhere else. Continuing to redefine the multiplayer experience, Call of Duty: Black Ops III looks and feels incredible, and I’m thrilled fans will have the chance to experience it first on the PlayStation®4 system.” – Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher and Developer Relations, Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC
