Black Ops 3 eSports reveal to be live-streamed next Wednesday

With GamesCom taking place in Cologne, Germany next week, we can expect to hear more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer mode. While the mode has been revealed earlier this year than in previous years, there’s still plenty more information to come. In particular, we’re yet to hear how Treyarch are expanding on the eSports functionality that they heavily supported with Black Ops 2.

That news is now confirmed to be landing next week with a live-stream which kicks off at 10am PT (1pm ET/6pm BST) on Wednesday, August 5th. The eSports-centric briefing will feature eight competitive players battling it out in Black Ops 3 multiplayer; Censor, TeePee, Buzzo, Tommey, Kivi, Gotaga, FlexZ,Merk. The stream will be hosted by Scott Lowe, Communications Manager at Activision, with commentary from Matt ‘Mr X’ Morello and Clint ‘Maven’ Evans. Treyarch will also be making an appearance with guest visits from David Vonderhaar and Jay Puryear. More Black Ops 3 will likely hit throughout the week, with new modes and Specialist reveals a good guess.

The five-day Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta kicks off on August 19th for PlayStation 4 and August 26th for Xbox One and PC before the game’s launch on Friday, November 6th.
