‘Beyond: Two Souls’ demo out on Oct.1st, new “making of” video

Beyond: Two Souls will be getting a demo prior to release. It will be officially available on October 1, however some will be able to access the download on September 24. Details on how to get this early access are coming “soon”.

The demo will consist of two scenes from the game where players will be able to experience:

  • Jodie & Aiden: Join a very young Jodie as she takes part in an experiment at the Department of Paranormal Activities. As officials put her abilities to the test, you take charge of a mysterious, invisible entity.
  • Hunted: Skip forward a number of years and help Jodie escape the clutches of government agents as the mysterious entity unleashes its truly astonishing powers.

Beyond: Two Souls is due out on October 8 in NA, October 9 in AUS, and October 11 in EU.

We’ve already seen what Quantic Dream is capable of with Heavy Rain in addition to short films like Kara (2012) and this year’s Dark Sorcerer. With Beyond it appears that David Cage and his team are attempting to push the limits of storytelling in videogames like never before. With huge hollywood talent like Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe driving the project I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

Are you excited for Beyond: Two Souls? Disappointed that there’s no sequel to Heavy Rain? Will it get overshadowed by next-gen and GTA V? Leave your thoughts below in the comments!
